Physical Therapy

Pediatric physical therapy is all about helping children to achieve age-appropriate physical abilities, such as crawling and walking.

Our skilled therapists work with children who may be struggling to reach these milestones, using encouraging and fun activities to boost gross motor skills. Our therapists help children develop strength, range of motion, balance, and endurance to progress skills from rolling over to walking and running. In our sessions, children learn how to move freely through various environments. At Moonbug, our therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s individual needs and focus on a set of age-appropriate goals. We combine a variety of methods and therapy techniques to meet your child’s needs. We believe in the importance of parental education and involvement and the use of home practice to help children meet their goals and improve their skills.

We provide Physical Therapy services in the areas of:

  • Poor balance

  • Limb deficiencies

  • Musculoskeletal Prematurity

  • Lack of flexibility, coordination, or strength

  • Genetic disorders

  • Orthopedic injuries/disabilities

Evaluations

We strive to schedule evaluations within one to two weeks of receiving all necessary patient forms. After receiving a referral, our helpful and friendly office staff will guide you through the process of becoming a new patient with Moonbug.
